Hi, I’m Bailey Berger, and Beauty in Ordinary Days is where I talk about skincare, makeup, hair and self-care the way I’d talk about it with a friend on the phone: honestly, a little sarcastically, and without pretending my life looks like a serum commercial.
I’m not an esthetician or a dermatologist. I’m a person with combination skin, not enough sleep, and a bathroom shelf that has seen a lot of impulse buys. Somewhere along the way I realized that the beauty I actually enjoy happens on regular days: a five-minute face before work, a hand cream I keep by the kettle, a perfume that makes a grey Tuesday feel a little more like mine.
So this site is me testing things slowly and telling you the truth. What’s genuinely worth it, what went viral for no reason, and what I quietly regret buying. If a trend is overhyped or a pricey product is just fine, I’ll say so. I’d rather be useful than impressive.
Everything here is written by a real human who has flakes of dry skin and opinions to match. No ghost-written filler, no pretending my routine is flawless.
